Snuggaroo Sunday – 17th November 2013 (Oliver – 1968)

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all well. I don’t know about you, but I have been looking forward to Snuggaroo Sunday this week.

I spent the back-end of last week painting my bedroom and finished it off early this week. So finally the blue is all gone and it’s a beautiful clean white now. I was also on BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire Friday having a chat, if you missed it you can hear it on my YouTube channel, or below .

So yep, it’s been a busy week so was looking forward to getting all comfy in my Snuggaroo Onesie, putting my feet up and watching Oliver.

Must admit, I had never seen Oliver till last week. It’s currently selling for £3 on Amazon so thought I would try it out.

As soon as I started watching it, wow, I love it, within 6mins they were already singing Food Glorious food and like any other 25 year old we have all sang that at primary school.

I was actually surprised with how much I loved the film to be honest and I was also shocked how many songs I knew too. Bella wasn’t best pleased though with me bursting into song every 2 minutes, but hey that what musicals are for :p

Consider Yourself had to be one of my favourite songs in the film, mainly because I sang and danced to that song in a school stage show.

Talking of dancing….a lot of the dancing in the show did remind me of Mary Poppins which is a film I really love, in-fact here is a little fact for you. Mary Poppins was the first DVD I ever bought!

All in all it was one amazing film and so glad I spent the £3 on it.

Till tomorrow,
Newt x
