So I went into the Halifax bank this morning to pay some money into my bank account, not been there since last year and wow it is so depressing there now!
They have all these fancy new paying in ATM’s and the counter and staff have been moved into the corner, behind a pillar out of the way, it’s pretty shocking really.
I can understand the need for change and these new paying in ATM’s are perfect, but I do feel sorry for the staff. I got depressed after only being in there for 10mins, could never spend my working life hidden away in a dark corner.
Anyway let’s crack on!
Weekly Standing Charge – £2
As for the Units: My water meter reading this week is 00046.391, means I have used 0.510 units these last 7 days, double my 0.250 target, no idea at all how I have used that much, I have even shocked myself, I will have to try harder than ever next week to get back to normal.
Also, as i’ve now hit 00046 main units I need to make the extra £4 payment for that 1 extra unit.
Gas meter this week is 3449 and as always, a £0 bill.
Reading this week is 00116 Means I used 5 units @ £0.1591 per unit = £0.84 (including VAT)
YES – I’m back to under the £1 per week again, amazing, it’s always a nice feeling when I manage to beat the £1 mark. What a great way to end today’s blog, oh and as normal I have rounded the 84p up to £1 so my SSE Account can climb into credit without me even thinking about it.
Till next time,
