If you have me on Twitter or Facebook you will know this already, but I had my 3 monthly electricity bill this week, and in total I used 79 units during the last 3 months and have ended up with a bill of £12.69.
This is the thing I love most about SSE/Ebico, the fact they have no daily standing charge at all. Yes the unit rate is a little higher to cover this, but for people who use so little energy, like myself, this is perfect.
Anyway, let’s crack on with this weeks readings.
Weekly Standing Charge – £2
As for the Units: This week my water meter reading is 00045.060, means I have used 0.246 these last 7 days. As my weekly target is 0.250 per week I’m very happy to be back under my goal again as I have been over the last 3 weeks which is has been irritating me somewhat.
Also, as I’ve now hit 00045 main units I have needed to make a £4 payment for that 1 full unit.
Gas meter this week is 3449 and as always, a £0 bill.
Reading this week is 00088 Means I used 5 units @ £0.1591 per unit = £0.84 (including VAT)
As normal I have rounded the £0.84 up to £1 so my SSE Account can climb into credit without me even thinking about it. With being over the last few weeks it’s really nice to be under the £1 mark again.
Till next time,
