I was catching up on Still Open All Hours last night. While it’s no way as near as good as the classic Open All Hours that ran from 1973 to 1985, it is still watchable, but then again, it could never be the same since we sadly lost Arkwright (Ronnie Barker) in October 2005.
They have still managed to get the rest of the gang back though, including Nurse Gladys Emmanuel (Lynda Baron) , or Auntie Mabel as any child of the 90’s will remember!
Anyway, let’s crack on with this weeks Meter Reading Monday.
Weekly Standing Charge – £2
Units: This week my water meter reading is 00043.240, means I have used 0.265 these last 7 days. Little over my weekly target of 0.250, but I am only over by 0.15 and as it is next to nothing I can live with that.
Also I have reached 43 main units so I needed to make my £4 payment for 1 full unit.
Gas meter this week is 3449 and as always, a £0 bill.
Reading this week is 00051, Means I used 5 units @ £0.1591 per unit = £0.84 (including VAT)
As normal I have rounded the £0.84 up to £1 so my SSE Account can climb into credit without me even thinking about it. This is also now the 2nd week I have managed to get my electricity to 84p. Difference is this week I have not really tried, it just kind of happened which is the best way to-do it.
Till next time,
