I wish the weather would make it’s mind up. It’s sunny one minute and chucking it down the next lol, we even had a little hail-stone yesterday haha.
Water (Yorkshire Water)
As we all know, my monthly standing charge is 6 pounds something a month, but as I like to round things up so I have been paying £7 on the first Meter Reading Monday of each month.
Well, to try and keep everything weekly and I have agreed with Yorkshire Water I will be paying the standing charge weekly. So as from today I will be paying £2 a week standing charge, this works out at £8 a month so my Yorkshire Water account will be going into credit too. As for the units, I have increased the unit payment from £3 to £4. This is just to help with getting in credit with Yorkshire Water too.
The new weekly Standing Charge = £2.00
Units: This weeks water reading is 00028.188, this means I have used a massive 0.505 units this week. No idea why I have used so much water, but I will be working harder this week to use my target usage of 0.250. Also as I have hit 28 main units I need to make a £4 payment for that one unit.
Gas (SSE Ebico)
Gas reading as normal 3449 with a £0 bill.
Electricity (SSE / Ebico)
- Rate 1 this week is 00530. This means I have used 9 units @ £0.1994 per unit = £1.7946
- Rate 2 this week is 00130, This means I have used 1 units @ £0.0768 per unit = £0.0768
Total this week including VAT = £1.97
No idea at all why I have used so much electricity this week. It’s worrying me how it’s slowly creeping up, to the £2 per week mark again. This is something I really do not want, so will be working very hard this next week on trying to get under £1 again.
