Sorry this weeks Meter Reading Monday blog is one day late. I was having such a nice day yesterday with spring cleaning, shampooing the carpets and enjoying this amazing weather we are having that I totally forgot what day off the week it was till last night. Also, normally on Monday’s blog I take a screen shot of the payment from my online bank account and use that photo in my blog. Since once again I seem to of locked myself out of my online banking, I have made payments via my Visa card this week and asked for e-mails/tweets so I can use those instead.
Water (Yorkshire Water)
Weekly Standing Charge – £2
Units: This week my water meter reading is 00034.0.47, means I have used 0.898 units of water these last 7 days. As my weekly goal is 0.250 units per week I am over, however since I spent all day shampooing the carpets I knew I would be over this week and that’s cool. Also as I have hit 00034 main units I have needed to make a £4 payment for that 1 unit.
As you can see above I paid £6 (£2 standing charge & £4 for the unit) to Yorkshire Water last night by card and the above e-mail is proof of that.
Gas meter this week is 3449 and as always, a £0 bill.
- Rate 1 this week is 00635, Means I have used 5 units @ £0.1994 per unit = £0.97
- Rate 2 this week is 00146, Means I have used 1 units @ £0.0733 per unit = £0.07
Total this week including VAT = £1.09
As always, I have rounded the £1.09 up to £2, as I always like to have round numbers on my bank account, plus this also get’s my SSE account slowly into credit without me even thinking about it.
Till next time,
