Meter Reading Monday – 23rd February 2015

Hey Guys,

I’ve been catching up on Where The Heart Is, Heartbeat, Corrie, and The Royal this last week or so. It’s strange how I’ve watched each episode of Heartbeat and The Royal what feels like millions of times, but even now when I watch it it still feels fresh and new, and I still get gripped by the story lines, even though I know what happens in the end, so silly really!

Also, I did not do a Meter Reading Monday blog last week, I could come out with how I was too busy, I forgot, anything like that, the truth is I have just been feeling so down that it was hard to even take Bella (my dog) for a walk last Monday, let alone trying to get any work done. So this blog will be covering 2 weeks.

Anyway, let’s crack on….

Weekly Standing Charge – £2 (Last weeks)

Weekly Standing Charge – £2 (this weeks)

YW2

As for the Units: My water meter reading is showing 00045.881, which means this last 2 weeks I’ve used 0.586. It is a little bit over my 0.500 target (0.250 per week), but with how down I have been feeling I am still pleased as it could have been a lot more!

Gas meter this week is 3449 and as always, a £0 bill.

Reading this week is 00111 Means I used 18 units @ £0.1591 per unit = £2.90 (including VAT)

SSE (9)

As normal I have rounded the £2.90 up to £3 so my SSE Account can climb into credit without me even thinking about it. Yes I am over my £1 per week target, but again I am not really fussed as it could have been a lot worse.

Till next time,

Newt x

  1. Wow how do you power the laptop!!!

    • Haha Andy, my laptop is on 24 hours a day, i fall asleep with it on & wake up with it on. But that’s pretty much all the electricity I use.

No fridge / freezer, no TV (watch everything via laptop), no music system etc. I use my laptop for pretty much everything.
