31st July 2013 – Weight Loss Wednesday

Hey Guys,

Well here we are the first Weight Loss Wednesday.

If you have me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter you will already know that I have lost close to 6 stone since April and while I have mentioned it a few times on this blog, and with the complete restructure of this site and my life I have decided to keep you all updated on it once a week.

What diet are you on?

I am not on any diet at all. I do not agree with diets and I feel they do more bad than good.

But you are always tweeting about this juice diet?

No I do not tweet about diets but I do tweet about Jason Vale’s Juice plan (this is not diet) and it helped me loads.
I first did Jason’s juice plan for one week in April. It was a global event and if I remember right there was about 27,000 people taking part. The idea behind it is that it is not a diet  it’s just a structured plan you follow. I am not a lover of veg at all so this is why I wanted to try the juice plan as I knew that I needed to eat a lot more than I was which was hardly anything. What really helped was that the juice plan helped me learn about veg and also helped me learn about structured eating or more of what is needed and not less of everything like diet plans suggest.

How many times a day do you eat?

As I said the plan helps to structure your eating habits and I eat 5 times a day. 10.00am, 12.00pm, 2.00pm, 4.00pm & 6.00pm. When I say eat I do not mean a big meal instead this can be some fruit, a veg juice or something like that.

A normal day is like this:

  • 10.00am. Oats So Simple with a cup of Yorkshire Tea, or a Jason Vale juice.
  • 12.00pm, snack apple, or banana or something like that.
  • 2.00pm, Dinner time, I will have a pasta or jacket potato, or a Jason Vale Juice.
  • 4.00pm, I am not really hungry now but I will still have a apple or banana,
  • 6.00pm, I will have a very light tuna pasta, or tuna salad or a healthy small curry or a Jason Vale juice again.

Why are you so large?

Well, as I work from home I get bored, when I get bored I start to eat. This is why eating 5 times a day is just perfect for me & I have learned that from Jason too, plus with eating smaller portions more often my body is using all of what I eat and not storing it as fat..

What exorcise do you do?

Well, I go for a 3-4 hour walk every morning with Bella. That makes her tried for the rest of the day and it pretty much kills me too.
Then of an evening I will do a 30 mins to 1 hour video from the FitnessBlender website, I really love this website. They have tons of videos, these are all full videos, not just little short taster ones like on other sites and the best thing is it’s all for free. You can also buy an ebook for around £5 from them to assist along side them, but you don’t need to. I was using the site for about 4 months before wanting to support them. This is why I bought one of the ebooks to show my support of how well they have helped and continue to help me. Overall It is pretty amazing what they give away for free on the website and well worth checking out.

So why are you doing all of this?

The funny thing is I don’t see myself as fat, I never have and with the amount of high profile boy friends / sexual friends I have had over the last 4-5 years, plus with me walking anything up to 7 miles plus a day I really didn’t know how large I was….. till it hit me.

The day it hit me was when I was sat in the waiting area in Boots opticians in Leeds with a friend of mine having a nice day and I noticed someone at the other side of the room. I pointed (yes I know its rude to point) and said “Ewww, look at that fat lesbian”, I said it only to my friend, I wasn’t that rude to shouted it out so everyone could hear. But the embarrassing thing was… there was no-one at the other side of the room, it was a mirror facing me.  At this point I felt slightly embarrassed as my friend didnt know whether to laugh at me or not and if I was being serious.

That really hit me hard and if I am honest if it was not for that day, Jason Vale & Fitness Blender who I talked about earlier in this post I would not of lost 6 stone since April.

Don’t get me wrong I know I still have a long way to go, but I am off to a great start.
